King of Errors is a beautiful song. If only other Power Metal bands sounded like this instead of being cheesy as fuck.

I wouldn't classify Evergrey as power metal. I know they use some of the sparkly keyboard sounds, but have way less cheese, esp the older albums
But yeah King of Errors kicks major ass. What a chorus, and those solos

Evergrey is tough to classify though because there's no one else that sounds exactly like them. They're dark, at times progressive, and at times definitely have Power Metal elements. I just call 'em damn good Metal. lol.

He's really good yeah but I don't think it's his best. I actually think Torn is his best vocally (albeit the songs aren't nearly as great as most of their albums).

Yeah, Evergrey rule for many years now, it's a shame they haven't made an appropriate breakthrough. Pretty consistent too.

They started getting comfortable in their sound and streamlining it more, but this is still a great album. And they weren't really symphonic metal, but I get where you're coming from. They have def symphonic, gothic, power metal elements in their music
