To me Anders' vocals on this are like the vocals on Novembre's Arte Novecento, in that I enjoy the music enough that I'm willing to give them a pass, though they're definitely the weakest link.

There is very little on this album that stands out to me. Outside a couple moments and 1 song, I do not enjoy this album. This is not helped by the albums awful production. At least Battles has few more decent songs (not that Battles is much better but I do prefer it). I might be too harsh here as I haven't really listen to the album in full in a while but I am not fan personally.

This, Mask, Reroute to Remain, and Battles are all simultaneously their worst

Nah, RTR is fantastic. It is definitely not their greatest but it is so much fun. I, the Mask is alright and is better than Battles for certain but I agree, It is not that great.
