I'm not a fan of greatest hit compilations so I'm sure this sucks as much as you say or more
|
| |
Except Disturbed's lost children was a lot of unreleased recordings and b-sides, so it was pretty much a whole new album in its own right.
|
| |
Well yeah I guess, I just mean in general when bands put out songs that have already been released. Greatest Hit compilations are a prime example. Even if I've never heard the band before I'd rather hear their stuff in the context of each individual album.

The second disc is well worth a quick listen, if only for the acoustic tracks, Sowing.

I may. I do enjoy me some BB.

I'm exactly the same Sowing. Comps always feel disjointed to me. That's why I think it should be mandatory for bands to offer something more with it.
|
| |
Yeah, luckily most bands nowadays do. At least a farewell single or something.

The acoustic tracks really are some great ones. The b-sides for the most part aren't all that great but it's nice to see/hear something new from them. That Queen cover is actually really good.

Also, a funny thing is that the regular edition has a live track that the deluxe edition doesn't.
|

What person actually enters a store to buy a greatest hits compilation, anyway?

Not really, it does have other songs than just greatest hits.
|
| |
That version of "Blow Me Away" with Valora really is terrible.
|
| |
I may of bought a Foo Fighters compilation a few years back >.>
But eh, Everlong acoustic and Wheels
|
| |
Compilations should be for newcomers, but they end up being the opposite.
