I always thought this review was funny for stating that the album/lyrics were "phony." I was never an E!E! superfan, but I was really close friends with Keith in high school and literally VIVIDLY remember half of the events described in this album happening in real life. I was at the camp with Keith where the tornado hit. We had gone to the swim area and I followed a different group back because their camp was closer and was deemed a "missing camper" until they found me later that day. I came back later to see a tree had fallen over my tent, barely being held up by another, keeping it from crushing all my belongings. I was at his wedding where Cathy appeared after being in an accident. I wasn't on the spring break trip where they learned his friend's brother died, but I heard about it right when they got back. Being close to the situations described in these songs, I tend to appreciate this album even more than WITTMF, which I had enjoyed just fine. Maybe it's just because someone was able to document several moments where I was in the periphery, but I think it's just because I find it all relatable. Keith and Cathy have an amazing relationship, and having a happy marriage doesn't mean someone doesn't experience feelings of loss, hopelessness or struggles. I guess my point is he's not singing about imaginary things on this album. Every song on this album literally happened. So that criticism rings really, REALLY hollow.

Can you do a huuuuge favor and not offer to leak the new record? If you already have it, cool, but we're trying to keep this under wraps until the band is ready to release it, and every potential lost CD sale really hurts the band and the label, neither of which really has money growing out of their ears.

Some new tracks will be put up soon to help whet your appetite. Trust me, though, it's going to be worth the wait.

John, the band's publicist.

Edit: I was totally thinking you were offering the new album for free. Yeah, don't do that. The EP, we'd prefer if people bought it from snrrecords.com, but make sure you buy My Everest when it comes out. It's sweet.
