Kicks and pendulum are undoubtedly the best with kicks edging it as the better.
Yeah, pitchfork are going overboard as usual

Incredible album. One of the best RnB albums ever created, some of the most interesting production I've ever heard for this genre.

if it's so good how come it's only rated .5 above your average

Wouldn't say it's one the best R&B albums out there, it's just very well produced R&B and nothing more

I honestly didn't dig this album much at all
It wasn't bad, I just can't get into it so far

1 or 2 "ok" songs, but Pendulum, Two Weeks, Give Up, and Closer are AMAZING. Everything I could have hoped this album would be. Love the production.

My main problem with how to dress well is his voice...
there's a very "try hard" quality to it...
and because of this...he sounds like Bret from Flight of the Conchords.

Those of you talking about the cussing on "Two Weeks" need to realize that the whole sentiment of the song is her pretending to be more forceful than she is. All the stuff she's saying about open mouths and forgetting about the other woman is all in her imagination. Just like many of the album's other tracks, twigs' desperation is implicit in the lyrics. The video just adds to this, she's both the goddess, the master and the slave-dancer in the video before it all comes down to her drowning at the end.

Would I enjoy this if I haven't enjoyed her past material?
