Damn this grew off me real quick. Wasn't expecting that.

It's an interesting take on tech death but nowhere near reinventing the wheel like Metalsucks thinks it is.
Only techy band I've honestly ever consistently listened to is Nile.

"Damn this grew off me real quick."
didn't even begin growing for me in the first place :/

idk I've always called them tech death or death metal.
Unless ppl call them Extreme-technical-death metal...core(?)
|
| |
They sound like tech to me, faster tempos and their drumming is like all gravity blasts.
Most if these bands sound the same so w/e

Hmmmm this is decent. Def better than the last album at least.

I like this, but modern metal needs to quit with the unnecessary clean vocals unless they're absolutely necessary/good/beneficial to the listen. Which, I feel, they aren't on this record. I like the last full length a lot, guess I need to listen to this more before deciding how much I like it.

Sullen are u actually mad I put core there?
not sure if you are joking or just being a huge imn that is butthurt over something so small as a joke.

Bumped this up to a 3.5. The mix is slightly better on CD.

the mix on the cd is identical to the digital version
|
| |
I think the quality must be different (lossy digital vs lossless). Mix will still be the same though.

This is very good on first listen. Only thing that bugs me is the drumsound. It's somewhat subpar.

Dude, I got it! Who every the dominant creative force is for these guys apperantly got laid somewhere between Nomadic and this. Everything about this album screams euphoria and rough sex :D

i hate the production on this. it's way too overproduced to have any lasting effect
|

Most modern metal m8.
|
| |
Didn't catch my interest on the first play through. I'm not gonna rate it yet, because I'm going to give it another chance
since it's apparently the best thing that's happened to metal this year. Maybe it's the production, hopefully I can see what
everyone else sees. It didn't even have a chance to grow off me.

I still think this is gold but there are a lot of people round these parts dead set on trashing it just for the production.
