This is a killer mid-year record. If it grows on me even a little it will challenge my top 5 albums of the year.

this, ga ga ga ga ga, and girls can tell are spoon's best albums, undoubtedly.

so so so excited to hear this
trans-whatever was ehhhhh but I've been hearing good things about this, and not from Rudy who, let's be honest, was bound to give this a 4+ based on the fact that it said "Spoon" on the cover

Just want to say that I love the phrase 'wide underground following' in this band's description

spoon are easily one of, if not the, most consistently excellent bands of the 00s
I mean their highs, except for Gax5, are never that high but everything they do is 3.5-4

Listening to it for the third time and Rainy Taxi is really sticking out to me this time. Every song's very good though.
