Maybe clay, admittedly I haven’t spent a ton of time with this but I think its impact is marred by the fact that I got into Room on Fire way sooner and thus most of the impact this might have had on me was dulled. I’m just not a massive fan of this sound in general and most of my love for Room on Fire was because I got it early in my music exploration and now have some nostalgia for it. This one’s probably just as good (thus the “respect/appreciate”) but I have no connection to it.
