Yea as I said, the story is pretty ridiculous but I just got so invested with Nate and Sully on this. I really enjoyed seeing how Nate met Sully and of course that conversation Nate had with Marlow in chapter 11. I never viewed him the same way after that.

I never saw the Uncharted games as movies, I always found them to be 3rd person shooters like Max Payne, except with better storytelling.

I will say this, the multiplayer was so muh better on 2. And yea as I've said, it's the music and characters that really keeps you invested in this game. The story is pretty weak if you take away Nate sully Marlowe and to an extent cutter.
