Musk ox only played 2 dates on the current tour so I guess you're out of luck there! Luckily, being from the hometown, I got one of those dates

Well of course it's got the whole band and he isn't limited to short 2-3 minute songs. The interludes rule though (especially the first one)

I prefer Dark matter gods. Astral feels more like the intro and it really gets going once dark matter starts

Dark Matter Gods is good, but for some reason it feels like it lacks some kind of flow or something and doesn't really go anywhere for me. It's a little frustrating sometimes, because I love the buildup like halfway through the song where it starts getting more aggressive, but right when I think it's going to go even further and blow me away, it suddenly drops off to that weird clean section with the bass line again.

But then it immediately picks up again and all is good! (if its the same part I'm thinking of)

I was actually pretty surprised to learn that Musk Ox did the interludes for Serpent. I didn't like interludes at all, they struck me
as kind of bland and unnecessary. The closing interlude wasn't bad though, but the rest were probably my least favorite thing
about Serpent.

Just how good is this? I've been seeing it a lot on this site and I'm tempted to give it a listen, but Spotify doesn't have Musk Ox. I've lacked the enthusiasm to search elsewhere.
