They teamed up with Mick Gordon for the album, which is pretty awesome.
New song is interestingly not djenty-proggy like they band's previous output, but more melodic. Vocals are great. Gonna listen to the full album before I make any judgements but song is probably gonna either be a grower or put some people off.

Yeah super stoked for this new one. "Phronesis" was not as bad as everyone claimed it to be, but it was not anywhere near "Amanuensis"

Nah this album still goes hard and everyone sounds tight, especially Chris. Only downside is the mix sounds a little muddied, which is unfortunate because there's some fantastic riffs happening
