I know, it's just kinda funny sometimes that we'll go from a Nigel Pepper Cock conversation to the Enid

You must be 18 or older to rock with the cock

I think there's some live footage of the band on youtube actually, which is kind of cool

Oh dear! What happened? I wasn't hugely impressed with "Fly From Here" (apart from the track "Into The Storm") but this latest offering is just barrel-scraping. For a start, I can hardly hear it! It's so quiet with apparently everything dumbed-down so as to achieve that special 'elevator-muzak' vibe. Deliberate, or just an indication of the lack of original songwriting? Or bad production Or all three..who knows.

Despite the introduction of new-blood in the form of Jon Davison, the final net results still reflect a band that has clearly outstayed it's welcome. It's so sad. I have to keep returning to "Close.." or Relayer to remind myself just how wonderful this band once were.

The current incarnation of Yes are simply paying the bills by touring in support of "whatever" they happened to have released at the time but can only really pull in the punters by playing the classics. Any new album from Yes these days is just an excuse for a tour so that they can say they have done something "new". The originality, the power, the virtuosity, the creativity are all gone for ever. Like I said earlier..so sad.

"Deliberate, or just an indication of the lack of original songwriting?"

I think it was a deilberate choice, I don't think they're that much out of original ideas. Also, the production doesn't help

At least the current Yes line-up had a damn good three album tour, it makes up for this terrible album.

I have no idea how the rest of their tours will be, considering that they took 30 years to return to my city and I *really* doubt they'll be back again.

After one spin, I find that Subway Walls is such a great song. There must be some other good cuts. I need to give another spin.

Have yet to give this a listen, but I can't say I'm in a hurry. Fly From Here was alright, but I already had a feeling this wouldn't amount to much.

the more I listen to this = the more I like it

this album is truly worth getting into

at first it seems dull and pointless but after a while it can really grow on you, I feel sorry for those who judged this after the first listen
