EoS mostly sounds like Mastodon playing classic heavy metal, until the last song which reminds me of CtS. It's the definition of solid, even moreso than this or The Hunter, even though the latter had a few stronger moments than this or EoS, which makes The Hunter my personal favorite of these three most recent ones.

The Hunter was a ton of fun. It had their simplest compositions to date but also had solid as hell songwriting.
RTS sort of lost me, idk why but there wasn't a lot here that felt finished. It was kind of like The Hunter dipped in a small amount of Acid but it wasn't enough to really feel it so you kind of walk around not knowing when the acids going to kick in but u swear that graffiti on the wall was sort of moving but maybe its just that lush is that good.

Kinda like that

The Hunter was awesome yea, a bit underrated around here. Amazingly produced and probably their most visceral album yet.

Dam I was kinda stoked for this. Quality of the music is inversely proportional to the quality of the cover art

Significantly worse than the hunter. V surprised wowie

Yeah it's grown on me a lil since release but ultimately nothing too memorable

I don't know 'Ford, it probably does what it does better than The Hunter, I can see why people might enjoy some of the catchier songs here like The Motherload. Ultimately for me it's stylistically inferior with slightly better songs, I call it a wash. Slapped the same rating on it. No longer optimistic about the new one now...

Tread Lightly, Asleep in the Deep, and Halloween are fantastic. Chimes at Midnight and Ember City are great too. The rest are either good or decent.

The closer I thought was the best song by far

Diamond in the Witch House sounds like classic Neurosis in a way, but it's probably my least favorite on here tbh

First and last song are the best for me. Asleep's pretty sweet, too. I still don't jam this one much, though.
