"Old Light" and "El Dorado" are two of my favorites off this bad boy haha. That El Dorado outro is such a damn stomp around.

The outro definitely stomps but I think they just drag it out a bit too much.

I really like Old Light because of how different Keith's vocals are on the chorus.

But for me the first 3 songs on this are the best start to any ETID album.

Even tops Ex Lives imo. Have been trying to listen to other stuff in the gym but just can't. That start just gets me pumped like nothing else.

Thats not Keith on the chorus right?

I thought it was the frontman from the gaslight anthem

Yeah you're right my bad.

It's Brian Fallon of the Gaslight Anthem. Still like the vocal change in the chorus.

Pelican of the Desert is ETID's best nº2 song.

Their best song is probably "Map Changes" or "1977". But off this one it's "Moor" or "El Dorado".

That being said, every song on this rips so there's no such thing as a "bad" one.

Yeah but i mean song nº2 on the album.

This entire album slays. Has their best riffs all around.

Map Change is one of their best songs, yup.

Regarding Keith sounding different in the chorus:

I legitimately thought Keith sang the chorus to Kill the Music for like three years after GP came out. I remember thinking holy FUCK Melissa Cross did him wonders.

I mean she did for sure, but you know.

Yes. I think it's my favorite etid ending. That last riff and drumming makes me go ape shit.

Big Dirty and Gutter Phenomenon are a mystery to me yet.

Have only heard each once i think.

They both rule hard, the production is the biggest downfall on Gutter. But the music itself is amazing.
