I don’t think anyone loved it as much as kurt did they? Bloke had the equivalent of an Afghanistan poppy field in his system when he carked it.

Psychedelic drug is good, heroin sucks

I smoked heroin a couple of times as a teenager out of curiosity (I loved Burroughs), and the second that I tried to normalise the idea that injecting it wouldn't be a big deal, I immediately dropped it. Fucking crazy drug, and it shouldn't be touched

Drugs are the absolute pits. The tolling bell of permissiveness that leads down the pathway to oblivion.
Frances Farmer is a good tune.

Naturally, but I talked myself into thinking that if I were to try it, smoking it would be the way with the least risk (which is true I suppose). I've never told a single person in my personal life about it because of how much shame I feel when I think about it, and the thoughts of heroin ever being romantisied is insane.

Yeah. Certainly no shame in that. Some things are best left unsaid.

For sure. And this album definitely rules, though I find the MTV performance to be the best thing they ever recorded.
