I think part of the issue with the wording of that particular phrase is that English isn't his first language so there might be something lost in translation.

Not to mention the English language is the most interchangeable language in the world.

How old are you Voivod, if you don't mind my asking

I bet I have him beat!

It's somewhere in the middle+ for me, because Mayhem are well within their comfort zone, yet the album sounds great.

so i have a bit of OCD when it comes to having correct song titles. does anyone have a physical copy of the album? is it Mylab or Milab? is it Suntelia or Suntalia?

As far as I know, the album will be released on June 6 in Europe and on June 10.

Now, the right word is sunteleia, which is Greek for "The end of the world". Hence, "Aion suntelia" means "the end of the century".

I'm not sure about the spelling of the other word, hence those are my two cents.

oh, i thought it was released on the 21st or something like that last month.

milab according to wikipedia is a combination of the words military and abduction, and considering the album title, this is probably correct.

Nice review. I think that following the intelligent BM riffing as these acts did in the early 00's is

what keeps this album interesting. The good thing with Mayhem is that they move inside the borders of

what they themselves have created 2-3 albums back. Also i would like to add the Darkthrone -

Plaguewielder as an intelligent BM release.

Intelligent BM? I just dislike the wording. It just sounds too off to describe. I mean, how is this intelligent?

Perhaps you mean forward-thinking?

What I mean is "adventurous". I'll edit soon enough.

It is a term created back in the early 00s to describe the riffing in these records.Imagine the traditional Snorre riff with industrial aesthetics and constant playing and avant garde timings

Alrighty! Review is solid. That term is the only thing that really made me cringe haha. I'll check this album out in a bit.

I think I'll have to pick this up. It's on the list along with Vader's Tibi Et Igni and Triptykon's Melana Chasmata.
