gonna be my second but yeah, none of my friends listen to anberlin (first solo was lydia and same problem). i've even worn my anberlin shirt to uni multiple times and not a single person has said a thing (and i'm sure i pass at least 300 students per day, if not more).

gl storm. and really? i remember i wore my anberlin shirt once on campus and got a 'nice shirt.' i also have a couple close friends who listen to anberlin, but one of em is going to their LA concert, and the other two aren't big enough fans and couldn't be bothered

wow lucky you! i'm not too sure how big on music my university is (or at least the engineering students i'm usually amongst): i've only seen a couple people wear band shirts (i actually made a friend through that though - he was wearing a la dispute shirt and i just started getting into them around that time, so it was perfect timing)

yeah, honestly it might've been luck or whatever since it doesn't really fit so i don't wear it too often. also it's the shirt with the arrows, which doesn't even strike me as immediately obvious as 'anberlin' unless you're familiar with their merch.
and yeah, i tried to tell em, but honestly my friends aren't really the concert types. i mean who the fuck doesn't want to see fin live??

23 songs on this Philippines show. That's a lot of music. Resistance, Godspeed, and Feel Good Drag before Fin, ha ha. That's a hell of a lot of energy to end the show with.
I forget, are they touring with anyone or is it just them?

and yeah they are, but i don't know who the band is. apparnetly storm and some others know, though.
btw do you play guitar? there's some black magic in 'down' where Christian goes from a B minor to a C Major (3rd fret barre) wihout changing his finger position and i have no idea how to do it :'(

it seems pretty easy. the intro and solo are definitely easy, the chords in the intro (except that little transition) and verses seem pretty standard. i guess the chorus is a little weird though, with those high-pitched chords

the weird thing is he hardly moves his index finger at all, it almost looks like it's in the same position (1 fret up from the barre) but it obviously isn't or it becomes a Cm chord

I was just testing out the chord progression I found, and I don't think the barred B sounds like it fits with the original recording.
I found another with with a slightly altered progression, but I don't know if it sounds right either, ha ha. I'll watch the video and see if I can figure it out from there.
