Geez is there anyone here who isn't a certified fucking genius, I mean my IQ ain't too shabby either but unlike you and most people here I am squandering my intellect by studying a degree I don't enjoy (that doesn't challenge me) and working dead end part time jobs. Even worse is that I've recognized this but because I'm 2/3 of the way through it and I'm a complacent motherfucker I'm not doing anything about it. At this point i'm not even sure what areas really interest me.. other than music ofcourse. But as much as I love music It really hinders my productivity because when I listen to stuff I usually devote 100% attention towards it, I can't even study with anything playing even droney stuff haha. God I wish I lived in a world where playing in a band was a solid and stable career path

As for me Im stuck in abit of cycle where I feel shitty for squandering the hand I've been dealt so to speak and end up wallowing in apathy and self pitty, getting nothing done and intensifying the shittiness.

For the longest time I would tell myself that everything will fall into place in life.. but only recently have I realize the obvious that change really doesn't happen unless you make it happen. That's why I've used all my rewaining $ on a solo contiki trip through Europe in 2 days to help me gain different perspectives,hear peoples stories and maybe even spark an interest in an area i never considered exploring.



Sorry I should save this sort of thing for the diary (if i had one), but i've had a few drinks and sometimes they put me in this sort ofe reflective mood

Normally does need a change of perspective (or someone to tell you exactly what's what, whether you like it or not), so you choosing to go to Europe is definitely a great idea.
