I really need to get into more Magnolia Electric Co. I only really know this and Josephine (which is a fantastic album). The making of is so good but so sad because of what happened.

Honestly my first listen to this went in one ear and right out the other. I didn't revisit it until about a year later... and then it slowly grew from there. Goes to show how wildly inaccurate first impressions can be.

Exactly. I hateeeeee when people rate after 1 listen to something. Unfortunately most people do it. I MUST have 3 listens before rating anything.

Oh yah to clarify, when I say insta-5 what I mean is that first listen I was like “this might be a 5” and then by 4th-5th listen I was sure it was. Nowadays I usually give at least 4-5 listens before rating but sometimes it’s even like 10 lol.
