@Captain: That's alot of Symphonic metal album's problem in general. Sounds so good at first but they wear off badly with a few exceptions.

@CalculatingInfinity
I will admit, I haven't listened to a whole lot of metal albums this year, but so far it seems like a lot of metal this year is doom and black and death to the point where it gets to be a bit of overkill. There's only so much of that you can listen to without it becoming a draining experience overall. I like metal that tries to have fun and it feels like, so far at least, there's been a lack of that.
Thankfully though, there will be no metal album this year worse than Eternal Enemies.

@Heavy: Listen to 'Symphony of the Vampire' man, it's a Symphonic Metal album which destroys this in every aspect and it came out this year, a 5 for me. Also Eternal Enemies was obvisiously bad, almost too easy to rip apart really.

i don't get what's the fun about this album either.. sounds more like a serious symphonic power metal to me haha.
'I like metal that tried to be fun'
define 'fun metal'...
listen to Stormtroopers Of Death dude and you will know!:D. That's a fun album.

I think he means that it's over the top and bombastic nature of the album despite it's serious demeanor makes this album fun.

That was what I meant. It's kind of the same thing with Sabaton. I like music that's so over the top that it's impossible not to jam to it, even though it's completely ridiculous.
@CalculatingInfinity I will make sure to give that a listen, though it might have to wait. I have a large list of music that I still need to listen to.
As for Eternal Enemies, I know how easy it is to rip apart. I didn't even bother to give it a rating.

@CalculatingInfinity That album was pretty dope. I would write a review on it, but I don't speak Japanese and I think understanding the lyrics might be important to giving a review of an album.

@Heavy: Good lad, album is the fucking GOAT of Power Metal for me :D
Also the concept is in my opinion, is important to cover since the album to me was even better then I found out what each part represented and how music conveyed each said parts of the story. If you're planning a review and want to know what's the album about for each segement, shoutbox me.
