Any band which has their snare high punchy snare in the mix is good in my books.

damn Hogan I was at the show too! and it was top 5 show of all time for me, if not the best. I felt so connected to it. jerry is unreal. being right next to the pit with my copy of darkness was a scare tho haha

bro i was front in center, me and a girl next to me gave our vinyls to a bar host before it started. Show was def top 5 for me as well, was really something special. Felt bad for the dude who stage dove and was too heavy for us LMAO

that is actually quite unlucky, atleast the show was pretty damn awesome aside from some of the Will Wood cringe. Drummer for that group was sick tho

oh man will wood was the worst shit ever. that fake heckler thing was the most awkward thing I've ever witnessed at a show. their set felt like it went on forever too. jerry's way off on that band imo haha.

went on so long holy hell, so many people were getting hella pissed near me

fake heckler
holy shit
tbh holy vacants ended up performing below the expectations that i had for the first full length after darkness and never born but it's still a fucking glorious record

Bro those two ep's are almost untouchable in scope

I think never born is a little toooooo ambitious/uneven in scope for such a relatively short release. but that's cherrypicking and it's perfect and darkness is PERFECT. maybe vacants will grow on you who knows.
and yeah. fake heckler. 1/3 of the way into an obnoxious 50 minute set. was ready to die.

and I felt like such a sputnik scrub at the show because an attractive girl was trying to talk to me and offering me drinks during trophy scars set and all I wanted to do was zone and watch them play. was going to leave with her and then they came back on for the encore so I ditched her and never saw her again.
worth it 100% no regrets

thanks john cena. the encore was so great too, drunken, broken-thumb'd john convinced them to do another song on the spot for his birthday. it was magical

Girls are dime a dozen. One of your favourite bands live at a time of your life when you're genuinely excited about their music is a much more rare experience. I'm old enough now that I can pretty much never get as excited about an album or show as I used to 10 or 15 years ago.

Legit everyone had the time of their lives at that concert. Chick next to me cried the entire set, some bald 40 year old close to me cried during the entirety of everything disappearing. But most of all was so great hearing the crowd so in synch with Jerry
