How Soon is Now was a B-side? I didn't realize that. That's a surprise . . . Still, Silver Springs was a B-side in '77 and then 20 years later it was a hit single (from another album)--not a lot of songs can say that.

Well, perfect is what you make it. For example: You think Five Leaves Left is a classic, whereas I feel like Pink Moon is his culmination and a classic in its own right (Some days I feel like all three are classics, but when I hear them in succession Pink Moon just gets (more) under my skin - despite my name).
But yeah, this is pretty damn close to perfection. I don't think it is, but it is so charming (like Graceland) that i can't not five it. (sorry about my rant)

I really disliked Go Your Own Way for a long time, but listening to it in the context of the album completely changed my opinion. The vocals in the chorus kinda make me tear up when I listen to them.
