About a year ago, these guys made a FB status about how music isn't good if it isn't technically proficient (seriously.) I responded fairly, saying music needn't be technical to be well-written- and they laughed me off and called me names. Literally no reason for me to check this out

Very homogenous. Pretty much copying all the other bands that play this type of stuff right now. Still, you can tell they've got their chops down to a T.
I really think this pretty much sounds just like their debut but that's just me.
