Virgin Losing a Child still stands as one of my favorite albums of all time. Pleb, check out Wolves at Night and Now That You're Home. Other amazing tracks are Where Have You Been?, I Can Barely Breathe and Colly Strings.

That shit is so depressing, I usually skip it. Great stuff, though.

This album is so frustrating on two fronts:

The homogeneous nature of it mentioned in the review is a bit maddening knowing the talents of Andy Hull.

*See above* the fact that it's still so damn catchy

This album didn't really do it for me, but I still really like the singles, Indentions and Cope. A lot of forgettable noise though

A few years after this came out I don't find myself coming back to this much, but "Every Stone" is an absolute killer track.

That b-side cover of "Escape" is hilariously the only good thing that came from this album.

Everything.

Hopefully you've only heard this album so that your opinion doesn't seem so tasteless, Doof.

way to set the bar low, you'll definitely be happy with the new one lol

(Cope isn't terrible, but it's a low outlier in their discog for certain)
