I've heard pretty conflicting things regarding their live performances. It sounds like they can be kinda dull even when playing material off of this album.

they on their high horse and expect people to just stand there and appreciate the 17 minute "climax" they try to throw into sun

when I saw them it was a flawless performance, but yeah they intentionally bring the energy down. contrary to what onion says, it doesn't matter if they're playing Home or Goodness. Christian will straight up call you out for pushing/jumping/expressing enjoyment. Kinda sucks.

Yeah we were talking about that earlier. I get why he'd be concerned about that, but at the same time it's basically disregarding the emotional power this has and the way it resonates with many people. Goodness might have more nodding-esque moments, but I can't imagine not losing my shit to "Introduction," it's cathartic. Will probably avoid their live shows honestly.

I've seen em three times and never had an issue with energy. But that was pre-Goodness.

I had a listen to this today where it just clicked. I already had it at a 4.5, but this became an easy bump. Every single song is so emotionally impactful.
