I think so. I absolutely despise this album. Although I gave it a .5 for some reason

I don't always give sarcastic ratings on SputnikMusic.
But when I do, it's always a 4.5 - Can't be too obvious.

I actually like some of the songs on this album like Viva La Gloria, East Jesus Nowhere (aimless lyrics but that guitar riff though), and 21 guns isn't that bad.

This album is nothing special, but it's not terrible. It's not even the worst Green Day has to offer.

What's so wrong with it? I mean it should have ended before that last chorus and Billie doesn't sing the chorus with any power outside of the live versions but I don't find anything that I'd actually hate worthy about it.

Uno is better. Dos is bull shit. And Tre is about even.

uno and tre destroy this but this is about on par with dos, if anything slightly better cause nightlife is the worst song ever

This is better than the trilogy and somehow less lazy (which must have been a goal in the production of these albums).

I just absolutely despise the trilogy with all my heart and soul and I even like Green Day.

This album is great.

Uno is a decent album because it's as if Green Day briefly realized that they are a pop band and should just go ahead and make an all out pop album.
|

Creative review, but I didn't like it as much as your previous ones.
I think the rating is pretty silly. There are some good songs on here. Peacemaker, both of the Gloria songs, Before the Lobotomy, Last of the American Girls, and the title track are pretty great.

pretty much. tre also succeeds more often than not when they try the slower "deep" songs and its pretty poppy too.
