It's entirely possible that I will love EOD as much as this one in a year or two, but this is ageing spectacularly well. I still adore this every single time I hear it.

EOD was missing something, it's missing the aural storytelling that this album has in spades.
This band NEEDS it quieter moments, which EOD had very little.

I agree. I found that album much less memorable than this one. This one has fantastic atmosphere and really blends the heavy with the quiet perfectly.
Like those sparse classical guitars in Behind the Mountains.
