How could you not tell? I mean it was baaddd production.
It just never really bothered me. Production never does, unless the album is like super loud or some shit.

easily their best yet, amazing cover art and diverse songwriting

I referred to the one smooth jazzy song on here as "elevator music" and about eight fanboys flamed me
on youtube. Ha ha I didn't know the Misha crowd were so devout.
Pretty good album from what I've heard of it. Not much into instrumental djent that's not
Cloudkicker, though, so I haven't found the initiative to sit down and listen to it all in one sitting
yet.

this fucks on cloudkicker
and I rly like cloudkicker
|

Silence heretic. This is probably too djenty for me to like more than Cloudkicker, and the atmosphere on Ben Sharp's stuff is always top-notch, too.

This is not what I expected. I've had Physical Education on repeat for a few hours now.

"Like doesn't the djent work bug the fuck out if you."
Umm...nope.
|

i've liked what i've heard so far and phys ed makes me flop my dick around but i'm still unsure of how
i feel about it as a whole. really haven't given it enough time.
But don't you find that this album is basically a mix a weak moments that transition into
sometimes amazing moments
this pretty much sums up AAL for me. also the same way i feel about periphery

@Emyay: This is a grower, I found that the moments blend together and have more impact though repeated listens.

i will definitely listen to this a bunch more. sounding good so far

well seeing as he's done other side projects that are not djent oriented at all I wouldn't say he's making music for the times. kinda just doing what he/they want and if djent is what gave them their popularity, why not continue it.
this is definitely more of a return to djent brasstax. less electronics like on weightless and more similar to the first album, though just not as memorable.
