I liked The Triptych. Then I stopped listening when they released The Triptych Part 2, The Triptych
Part 3... etc.

As expected, but as generic and boring as they sound, I don't really get the hatred though.

It's really not bad, it just gets repetitive really fast.

I actually thought Triptych was one of their worst releases followed by more mediocrity. I'm super

biased against their new drummer after Mr Sprinkle. Not into the way he played, it just didn't have

much life to it. Also hadn't gotten used to the Dimebag Darrell-esque (lol) noodling that one of the

guitarist breaks out during the solos. Didn't always fit with the rest of the songs. THIS however,

sounds much more natural all around. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire album and can't get some of the

choruses out of my head. Mainly "Last One Alive".
