I've never heard Suck, but this is miles ahead of It Hates You...
Also, Do You Think I Am Pretty is maybe the second best song here, and it never gets any love.
Gosh I miss the way this band used to be. It apparently was cool to release a great post-hardcore album in 2004 and then hate the scene and go alt-rock. Looking at you, Dead Poetic...

they made this album because they thought it's what their label/fans would like, afterwards they did what they wanted and all the kiddies got pissy that they didn't make a part 2 so they said fuck it and went even further in another direction. If they wanted to they could replicate this album absolutely no problem. everything about it is simple, it's just fantastic songwriting. the only thing that would change is the singer's voice is all fucked now. and suck out the poison and it hates you both rule

Yeah idk if I can agree with that sure from a instrumental or technical standpoint they could be able to recreate this "sound" again but after ten years to say they could recreate the feels, emotions, lyrics, and energy when they are in entirely different places as individuals and musicians is kinda ehhhh. That's really something nobody can truly speculate on and be accurate. I'm not saying they can't but we certainly will never know

I like all their stuff. I don't care if they make another one of these. I mean, I have this album. I don't need a lame ass attempt of them trying to do it again, which I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do, anyway.
I like Suck out the Poison just as much as this. I actually wasn't super fond of this at first like I was with Poison. It took a few tries before I really got into it.
