I enjoy this record for the most part and agree with your rating and points in the review. They could make the jump if they wanted to, but I don't think they ever will.
Side note, I didn't know everyone hated The Diseased and The Poisoned so much haha I read it all the time. I love that album's percussion and the breakdowns a lot. It's still actually one of my favorite deathcore albums.

Y'know, I just realized something about this album that I didn't touch on with the review... where the fuck did the speed go??? One of the reasons that UIFN worked as well as it did was because of those high-speed tremolo and blastbeat moments that actually felt more authentically black metal-oriented. Sure they're here, but not as prominently as a lot of the slow breakdown moments. Quite a shame, really
