I thought the transitions from light-to-heavy were really sudden and awkward. The heavy riffs were also really weird and made me felt similarly awkward. Cynic's music has never felt like a chore to sit through for me but this record definitely changed that. I had to force myself to sit through the whole thing.

I was pretty hyped for this album... Then the singles toned it down significantly and now I see this? Yeah, maybe I'll listen to it.
After I'm done doing all the worthwhile things in existence. Like typing comments and such

This album was so boring, I was 15 minutes into the album and stopped paying attention for 10 minutes only to realize that I was still listening to it.

This album kinda reminds me of Opeth's Heritage in that a band changed their sound up, which is cool, but ended up making a bad album in their new style. That plus the jazz/prog thing going on and the general boring-ness
