I did, I'd love to move there post-graduation in search of work. It's a charming little place, much less spaced out than Paris is - although the centre is as stereotypical as you could possibly imagine. We rented an apartment so close to Grand Place we just had to walk down a side-street to get there and there were like six, seven chocolatiers en route. Tonnes of places that sell waffles too. Wish I could've stayed longer, didn't get to sample much of the nightlife because two of my friends threw up multiple times. Amateurs.
I did get to visit a huge-ass bar that sells the most beer/ale varieties in the entirety of Europe (although strangely enough none from Scotland). Over 2400, I believe

I had no idea it's (seemingly from my experience at least) weighted so heavily in favour of French as opposed to Dutch-speaking, which was obviously useful for day-to-day happenings. It's also much less expensive than Parisian life, which is also a contributing factor to my mad idea of packing up my shit and heading there next May when I finish uni

If we are talking "hipster" or whatever, An Autumn For Crippled Children's latest is a lot better than this and gets no where near the kudos.

Last couple sentences are a bit much, don't you think?
Maybe, but I think it has to be said all the same as it's the reason my rating is even lower than one might think from the review.
I will say that the review really does read like a 2.5 at least, maybe a 3 even. I personally don't feel that your own personal bias should come in to it but that's just me.
That's why I put the subjective part of the review caveat in. For me the album is average bordering on poor, and the cover and lyrical content really are what gives me the bump down to a 2 (poor), it's just not a coherent product in my eyes.

this album is being praised by people due purely to it's accessibility
I did take the purely out, beyond that I don't see any grammatical errors and I don't think an opinion on the albums success can be wrong i.e. needs corrections.
