I feel that, I do think though they were a pretty decent black metal band before they went blackened death, pandemic incantations is pretty fucking good.

yeah they had a cool thing going, they coulda really streamlined that sound, their death metal stichk is cool but a bunch of songs on satanica besides thelema are snoozers, that's actually how I feel about every post pandemic album until the satanist, half bangers half snoozers

When I was a Nile fanboy, someone gave me this. But it didn't really give me the same rush. Nergal just needs to chill a bit.

Indeed, that was Satan telling him to calm the fuck down.

Gay statement

Pretty confident in saying this is the only great behemoth record

I guess Satan is kinda gay.

God hates the gays, so it stands to reason that Satan would be a raging homo.
(this is tongue-in-cheek humour, please don't ban me, ok thx)

Not at all, that was my meaning too.

is Behemoth considered more of a mainstream metal band these days ? I remember hearing Demigod back in the day and man were those drummers sounding triggered like a motherfucker.. I digged Evangelion, then this guy almost died of cancer, etc.. Dropped this joint which was cool but now they tour with Slayer, etc..
Could see Behemoth on Conan Obrian soon..
