Even all their EP's are great.... Nightshades Forests is amazing and Lost Tales has one of my favorite Summoning songs "Saruman".

Mortal Heroes is awesome.

I give it a 3, same as this. I don't know what it is, but I just can't get into those two albums as much as Dol Guldur and Minas Morgul even though I've tried plenty of times. I'm hoping I like Stronghold though.

Stronghold is really good as well. Like I said, I like every Summoning album except this one.

It's not that it's bad, it's just their other stuff is better. This is still a 4 for me though.

I need to give this another listen later today. It's been a while anyways so I might like it more than I used to.

I agree, that song takes me on a epic journey where if I was under some kind of substance I really would go out to slay dragons and save wenches from thy oppressors. Ride my horse in the intersection and hit cars with my power metal sword.

I think I would make a kickass bard. Just go out and tell stories to people throughout the land. Grow my hair and dye it gray to speed up the aging process. Also learning the fiddle would be excellent for my adventures.

Or lyre.

Pretty sure lutes are for seducing princesses. I'm an ancient decrepit soul born from another time left to ponder his own existence. A fiddle would be perfect for playing sorrowful folk melodies to an appreciative youthful crowd yearning for intricate music.

for sorrowful tales you need a flute carved from the spine of a slain musk ox

And a flute created from a rare species of elephant tusk and royal crocodile skin from the hallowed Nile river.

However I will not kill an animal. These instruments must be dying animals who speak to me to utilize their spirit in musical form.
