i was really hoping this would be great. what a letdown

Hardcore was really fun, I love it, but this is so boring. I can't remember 90% of the record and I listened to it a few times.

Young Team is really the only album of theirs I don't find dull.

Hang on is this dull as in 'the first time you here Come on Die Young' dull or dull as in 'Rock Action' dull.

Because Come on Die Young despite being dull on the first few listens is so far from dull it's impossible to now call it dull. Whereas Rock Action is plain dull.

See, I found Rock Action a lot easier to get into than Come On Die Young. I find it tough to rank Mogwai's records but they'd both be up there.

Mogwai can do no wrong in my eyes, Rock Action still has it's moments. I'm gutted that this apparently isn't much cop.

Happy songs is best for me.

It's not their best by any means. Some of it is quite innocuous but the highlights really stand out. To be honest here and RYM are the only places I've seen negativity for it.

Hardcore was probably my second favourite album by them. White Noise and Lionel Richie are some of their best songs. I just knew they'd balls this up though
