"It may be a little risky, but it's safe to say the album would be lost without it."
This seems very contradicting to me. It's risky and safe at the same time?
"It's raw, beautiful, and the perfect combination of indie rock and post rock which is often a combination that is tough to pull off with finesse."
You have combination and rock twice here. You could take some of the repetition out and fill it out a bit more, maybe like dis:
-It's raw, beautiful, and the perfect combination of indie and post rock, which is often tough to pull off with this kind of finesse, but the band pulls it off masterfully.-
I dunno, something like that. Play with it! Have fun!
Agreed, this is quite the review. Makes me want to give this another chance even more now.

Well indie rock and post rock are two different things so that's why I put that. And I said it was risky because of how his accent
doesn't change at all. Like sometimes someone is British but you'd never know it because of the way they sing. But I play
around with it later!

Never understood why so many singers feel they have to fake a shitty American accent when they sing
I just don't get it

I just think the rock would be implied to both genres but not lumping them together as the same thing.
Ah, I didn't realize you were referring to the last statement in that one. That's a my bad.

I always wondered why they did that. There are quite a few bands I listened to that I didn't know were from Europe or Australia or what-have-you until I saw them get interviewed or just talking in a live video, etc. Honestly, I think it generally sounds pretty cool when the singers have accents in their vocals.
Do they sing with their normal accent when they release in their native country? Do they re-record the vocals for the American releases? I have so many questions...

@Ec No I don't think they re-record the vocals in an American accent for American release, haha. It sounds pretty funny when Australian bands try to imitate an American accent but they sound too Australian for it to work, eg Kisschasy and Grinspoon
