The record as a whole doesn't feel monotonous at all. It's all pretty to me. The shimmering melodies just convey happiness. Great album to lay on a beach with.

I didn't get the hype behind Les Voyages. Souvenirs, Ecailles, and Shelter are all incredible. Les Voyages was just like an ugly caccoon between metal and shoegaze that had its moments but never developed
