I mean, it's true, but you could say that about so many of their songs, especially living here in the U.K. If it was possible to go on with my life without ever being reminded of their existence, then I'm sure I'd be a little kinder now the dust has settled. I find them unbearable.

They are played a lot at pubs 'in the background' - (not necessarily Wonderwall), in fact for whatever reason Britpop is very popular in such situations, especially now. Lots of 90s stuff is. Probably going for nostalgic vibes, as it ticks a lot of boxes for the likeliest / most common demographic. Hits that sweet spot. I've heard some of their other stuff on the radio recently, too.
