I'm not quite a Dylan' connoisseur and I only own his best of. I'd have to change that. Review is great, JT. Keep it up.

Thanks Jethro. I'd encourage you to start with Blood on the Tracks if you want to explore his music further. It's his best album imo and I can see you liking that one the most.

Thanks for the rec Jamie, I'm gonna approach that album which starts off with a bang with Tangled up in Blue.

I have only heard "Blood On The Tracks" and "Highway 61 Revisited". What other BD albums do you suggest me Jamie ?

Definitely check out Bringing It All Back Home and Blonde on Blonde next, those are my second and third favourites after
Blood on the Tracks.

Don't overlook Desire either, that album is a bit uneven but has some absolutely amazing moments, enough for it to be in my top 5 Dylan albums.

This is also pretty much an essential listen too purely for the 5 or 6 standout tracks, which are some of his very best. Just skip over the filler.

Might seem strange to call an album I've 3.5'd 'essential' but you've gotta hear it in order to hear those standout tracks.

A calamitous slip up JT. Bump that rating son.

I'd check this out asap as well. Most people consider it a classic and top 5 Dylan.

No matter how much I disagree with that rating, the review is as masterful as the album i.e it's one of the greatest.
