I can see that comparison. And I would agree, they pull it off a lot more than HH.

I'm exploring some pop-punk/emo/hardcore bands these days, these guys are pretty much giving me the
push i needed to start seeking. Their new album is just amazing, can't say a lot about this one yet
but i certainly don't feel it being as heartfelt as their newest.

To me this is just a by the numbers pop punk release where as NoPlace is one of my favorite emo albums of all time so it's like I just can't with this one because NoPlace is so much better

Honestly, the genres in general have been getting some much needed talent lately. I'd agree, I probably lean towards saying their newest is better but this had some tracks necessary to their discography so it's hard to say. Weathered is a sick song by any right, I don't know many pop punk bands writing that or Our Lives Would Make a Sad, Boring Movie or anything of that caliber. I'd say this is a hell of a debut LP.

i still think it's weird the new album is so much more popular than this one. this might be more straight-forward pop-punk, but it's done exceptionally well
