This is my all time favorite album. Just perfect. The pinnacle of Tool. I saw six shows on the Lateralus tour and they were mind blowing, spiritual, awe inspiring. Best shows I’ve seen in my life. Much better than their shows now (which I still like, but it sometimes feels like they’re just going thru the motions and boring set lists). Was on shrooms for one of those shows and fucking Fantomas opened up for them. That was...intense lol. Frightening. I loved it.
