Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath
You're stumbling in the dark
You're stumbling in the dark
I'm always hit with a feeling of intense sadness for man I never knew when I hear these lines in particular. what is surely massive attack's most famous song has me not wanting to listen to the next track on mezzanine but instead return to this album-an album by Jeff Buckley- "teardrop's" lyrical inspiration. this fact somehow always surprises me, even though it shouldn't, as Jeff's music touched so many people
