Imagine putting a song that Geddy doesn't even sing on in your top 10. No but seriously, La Villa hovers around the 11-15 mark for me. That solo is probably Alex's finest moment, ever. Rush has 40 songs that can easily make a top 10 list, which makes it so fucking hard.

Hard agree on that. GUP and PW are essentially 100% sleeper hits, the former of which I absolutely love the guitar work on. GUP and The Police's 'Synchronicity' scratch that 80's synth rock so hard.

I think the Police influence was showing up as early as Permanent Waves with the reggae bits on Spirit of the Radio and then on Vital Signs.
