Def PT and Brand New. Brand New doesn't show as that on my profile but I listen on my ipod all the

time too. Gonna go out on the limb and say yours is PF?

Hmm... A few years ago, I would have said Thrice, not even a second thought about it. They are definitely still up there, but now, I would say either Jizue or Cloudkicker. They are both one of the few bands/artists I have deemed worthy of a 5.

Damn you don't have many 5's at all. Cloudkicker is pretty sweet but gotta listen to them more.

Nah, I am pretty 5 stingy. I was on here for a solid 7 or 8 months before I gave out a 5. Pretty sure Beacons (Cloudkicker) was my first, followed shortly by Novel (Jizue).

Cloudkicker is actually just one dude, Mongi. Records the guitars, bass, etc. himself, and I believe he programs the drums.

Damn now that's talent right there. I just can't fathom any band just being one person it's amazing.

Yea some people have more 5's than me but I also have a decent amount. I can't help it if something

hits me hard or if I enjoy every song on the record that much.

And thanks YoYo!

I am also interested in hearing this. I think I only have seen you gush over PF, Incubus, and A Lot Like Birds, Rowan.

There's a lot more bands I would gush over but doing it for PF takes up too much time

Don't forget Jimmy Eat World Ecal!

Glad you enjoy In Absentia though. If you like that then just try it all over time with the exception of their debut. They have a staggeringly consistent and diverse discography.

lol, rowan. You got your priorities straight. I respect that.

Ha ha, who could forget the JEW?

Yeah, mongi, I will get there. I am not good at working through an entire discog quickly. Gots to go one at a time, or things get lost and don't get properly listened to.

Cave In would also be up there in mine. Andy McKee is excellent as well. Who would have thought just one dude and his acoustic guitar could keep writing such great material album after album?

Yea dude idk how some artists make record sound different and pull it off beautifully. It will always amaze me when artists do that.

Signify is a whole other level man. Sky is pretty great too but sometimes it's a little too much like Floyd at parts but still
awesome. Dislocated Day is badass.

I wouldn't say Signify's on a whole other level, I rate it about the same as this and TSMS, slightly below the latter actually. I
don't think the obvious Floyd influences take anything away from TSMS, the album still has plenty of character of its own,
even in the title track with that electronic section which breaks up the 'Floydiness'.
