Actually nah.
It's fun. Just not actually all that excellent. Still feels juvenile, still feels vapid. Just now also well-composed for a change.

Great record, but not much replay value imo. There is a hell... is their best effort for sho.

There is a Hell has better individual songs if you ask me, but Sempiternal is way more consistent.
There is a Hell was inconsistent as it gets, for example, you had Crucify Me followed by Anthem, or Visions followed by Blacklist.
On Sempiternal, the record is very consistent, the only truly bad song is Antivist.

Yeah, but once you've heard it, that's it. There's nothing else to find in the songs once you've heard them a few times. The album begins to become a little mundane after a while. And lets be honest, Oli's lyrics really don't have a lot to offer.
I originally had this at a 4.5, but it's whittled down since.

I don't know, Can You Feel My Heart, And the Snakes Start to Sing, Hospital for Souls and Deathbeds have a ton of replay value for me.

Not saying they aren't worth jamming out from time to time, but it's certainly paper thin material.
