I mean it's been seven years and a vocal chord injury later. Still sounds amazing tho

well it's been 4 years since pacific myth.

side note, it's a tragedy that the default review for this is so negative.

Saying this vastly improves on Scurrilous makes little sense, considering that’s their best album

He doesn't sound that different in PM, which is why I was referring to this album, but you're still right.

I've said this on previous pages, but animal bones is the only thing keeping this from a 5 in my eyes. I used to agree about windmills and prejudice but those are two of my favorites now

i find those two the most forgettable of the bunch (relatively, of course) but they're both amazing. Animal Bones was weird with me, it was an easy highlight for the first month and then it grew off me. Now it's definitely a top 5 pick on this album for me

I think it's mostly good but the end ruins it. It just sort of peters out

Always forget Animal Bones exists for some reason, it's odd, maybe it's cause it's near the end of the record

it's a really forgettable song. i mentioned the end, but i'm also not crazy about the "sequoia throne" interpolation

I definitely enjoy that song to quite a degree, very energetic etc. good riffs too, just not quite the best here.

Fortress, Kezia and this are my top 3 PTH albums.

Then Scurrilous and Pacific Myth, which I don't listen to nearly as much as the other three.
