welcome back sowing! review is a bit too track-by-tracky and jumbled for my liking, but it's rather well-written and shows considerable experience (duh)

the big two singles at the front kick this off well; the rest of the album doesn't quite match the beginning, but there are good tracks here and there. "Let Me Go" is growing a lot on me (it reminds me of Shinedown - same kind of big, bombastic rock, full of heartache but sturdy as can be). from the non-singles, my fave right now is probably "Give You What You Like," surprisingly atmospheric song, and "Sippin' On Sunshine."
the Marilyn track was the only real groaner (maybe "17" too)
not an amazing album but it's well-done and I see it lasting a while. seven out of ten damns

someone tell me what song to listen to. I'm giving this a one song chance.

The Manson track is pretty enjoyable but that's about it. Her voice is simply annoying.

I hated Let Me Go when I first heard it, then I got over my ancillary hate and actually listened to it, and it's a pop masterpiece. Kroeger might suck at a lot of things, but the guy sure knows how to craft a pop song.
