I love this album

I've never liked these guys, ever. Forgot about them since the early 2000's. Then I saw them live last night and they were phenomenal! Like, really, really tight. Great sound!

You should check their first four albums. A lot tighter than this one, though this one isn't bad.

First 4 albums are cool, everything after blows dicks

This is certainly a drop, but I have a soft spot for it. Also, Curve is pretty sweet.

Everything after Spiritual Machines I just haven't found interesting in the slightest

I don't know man. This is one of those albums that I know is cheesy as all fuck when I listen to it, but I kind of enjoy it anyway.
Hard nostalgia with this band, but they still hold, especially their first four albums. Healthy in Paranoid Times and Burn Burn
are pretty much just bad though.

Yeah I understand that, unfortunately this doesn't have the nostalgic value that their earlier stuff had for me
This one isn't quite as bad as their next two

Their latest stuff doesn't sound quite as good, but I still love what I heard from the 90s-2002ish. I grew up in Canada so they were on the radio all the time. And as cheesy and poppy as those singles were, they were AMAZING last night.
Seeing them live, there was a lot more kick...or punch?...to their sound. The bass was very loud and it sounded so satisfying. They also had a keyboardist doing piano as well as synthy effects on a lot of songs, and it really helped. They sound a lot better live than in studio, definitely, and I think that's the first time I've legit thought that about a band.
Like, they played Angels Losing Sleep, and it went from a mellow tune to this stompy hard rock/funk song. Blew me away!

I know this is their sellout album but it's got some jams.
