this reminds me of what happened to pbtt when the lack long after came out. it sounds more fleshed out than their last but it doesn't grab me the same way. actually like the vocals on their last album a lot better.

listened a few more times; i'll bump to a 3.5 because i have mad respect for these dudes, but still can't help but feel like this is watered down.
and snipe i don't know where you're coming from with the vocals, they're pretty much the same as desolate peaks but with better production.
